Our Team

Mr. Kyner is a 4th Degree Black Belt and Co-Owner of Excel Martial Arts. Mr. Kyner enjoys teaching every program, but loves to share martial arts with beginner students. He began training in 2010, and instructing in 2012. He has achieved several national championships in forms and sparring. 

Ms. Bible is a 3rd Degree Black Belt and Co-Owner of Excel Martial Arts. Ms. Bible was the #1 ranking black belt in her age group in 2022. She believes everyone deserves to feel confident and capable, and has a passion for building up her students through this program. She also coordinates all our of community Women's Self-Defense projects.

Mrs. Goodwin is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in taekwondo, as well as a kindergarten teacher at Pleasant Valley Elementary School. Mrs. Goodwin is the Program Director for our 3-6 year old martial arts programs, and constantly enhances the program with her experience. She loves learning about child development, and incorporates her expertise into ensuring the program is developmentally appropriate and fun!

Ms. Tyson is a 3rd Degree Decided Black Belt. Ms. Tyson has been a top ten competitor in Taekwondo America events for several years. Her classes are always challenging and exciting, and she brings her personal energy to the mats. 

Mr. Cade Dickerson is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in taekwondo. Mr. Dickerson also enjoys cross training in Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai, He is the #1 competitor in Taekwondo America's 18 and under division. He is a talented athlete, and helps every student develop their sparring strategies and skills. 

Mr. Trent Kyner is a 2nd Degree Senior Black Belt. Mr. Kyner also is the head of the Tai Chi program and teaches class that incorporate elements of self-defense, wellness, and relaxation. His holistic approach to Tai Chi education also shows in his taekwondo training.
